Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer is a disease in which cells in the colon or rectum grow out of control. Colorectal cancer typically develops from precancerous polyps or abnormal growths. Fortunately, screening tests can find precancerous polyps, so that doctors can remove them before they become cancerous. Learn about colorectal cancer, and how you can help inform your community on risks and early screening in our colorectal cancer toolkit.
